'Sorry Amma' says 12-yr-old raped by 30 for 2yrs

The abuse began when the child was just 10, but the matter came to the fore after the class VII student attended a counselling session at her school, 500 metres from her family's rented accommodation, last week. The counsellor who the girl confided in told TOI that she was shocked the child had suffered so much trauma and yet she was ridden with guilt over not being able to contribute to the family's finances.
