The 8 Best Icons for Android

One quick way to change the look of your Android device is to change the icon. There are thousands of icon packs available for Android in the Google Play Store, some of which are free, nothing. We chose some of them to find the best.

Before you install an icon pack in android

Most of the icon packs you get in the Play Store require a program called Launcher to be installed first. You already have a launcher on your phone. This is a user interface that is specific to the brand of Android device. For example, if you have a Samsung device, the launcher (or user interface) is called the Samsung Experience or the Samsung One UI. HTC phones have HTC Sense Launcher; LG is the LG Home Launcher in the phone; The Pixel phone has a Pixel Launcher.

Launcher installed on most devices will only support icon packs for that launcher. You can still get some options for the icon pack. To know what's available> Themes> Go to icon. Depending on the way you use them, you will have different ones.

I do not have an icon pack that is available to you for your current launcher, such as installing an icon pack from the Play Store, you have to install a different launcher. Most common launchers like Apex Launcher, Nova Launcher or EV Launcher will work with icon packs found in the Play Store, but keep in mind that installing a launcher will change many things on your phone, including your folders, wallpapers, And maybe some settings too. All of them can be restored by uninstalling the launcher, but if you uninstall it, you also lose the ability to use custom icon packs.

To install launcher:
  1. In the Play-store search launcher you wan't to use.
  2. Install it.
  3. After installation open it.
  4. Follow the on screen instruction to complete the installation.

  5. Press the Home-Button to see the changes.

What We Like

  • Icons that are fresh, but familiar.
  • Easily Distinguishable.
  • Ability to request icons for apps that aren’t included.

What We Don't Like

  • May not be different enough for those seeking dramatic changes.

Minty Free icons for Android are fresh based on familiar icons. Although the design of these icons is different, it is so different that it is difficult to tell which app is behind the icon. The set is bright, easy to look at, and the ability to request optimization for apps that do not have existing icons or icons, which are 'quite close'.

4.Backlit and Colorful : Domka Lite

What We Like

  • Sophisticated, stylish icons.
  • Relaxing window-like design with no sharp corners.

What We Don't Like

  • In some icons, the backlighting seems out of place.
  • No immediately obvious way to request custom apps.
  • Some app icons are not immediately recognizable.

The delicate, rounded corners and the illusion of colorful backlighting gives Gamker a comfortable feel to the app icon. The deep background of the icon works well on the dark or deep wallpaper and theme. There's also a paid version of the Domka icon app that includes wallpapers and other features for $ 0.99.

What We Like

  • Some interesting icon designs.
  • Round icons; no sharp edges.
  • The ability to request custom icons.

What We Don't Like

  • Many duplicates in the icon pack.

If you are looking for something different and interesting, the exact icon pack has some icons opposite to others that are included in this list. From the whole 12-point deer to the Star Wars and Angry Birds icon, you will find something interesting for all your apps. Unfortunately, you will also find lots of duplicate icons in this pack, which means that there are few apps in the archive, which will appear at first glance.

What We Like

  • Beautiful, metallic-like finish on each icon.
  • Perfect pop on a red or silver theme.
  • Ability to request custom icons.

What We Don't Like

  • Some apps have rounded corners, some have sharp corners.
  • The app is ad-heavy, making it difficult to use.

If you have red color, these free icons will make you very happy for Android. These beautiful reed and silver matlik finishes on these icons are different from what you get. Icons are mostly easy to understand, but there is some inconsistency in the size of the icon. There are some goals, some have rounded corners, and some are fast wider. Still, this is an effective icon pack for anyone who loves bling.

What We Like

  • Slightly muted, but distinguishable icons.
  • Colorful without being too bright.
  • Ability to request custom icons.

What We Don't Like

  • Some icons are gray scale.

For Android this icon pack will speak for any color that is not super bright or unpleasant. To add some style to your Android device, these gradually colored icons are quite different from the standard icons, without so much different that you can not tell what is behind the icon. There is also a large selection of icons here, and you can request a custom icon for anything working with an existing icon, but there are some gray scale icons in the archive that are out of place with the rest of the group.

What We Like

  • Icons look like they’re made from ice.
  • The crystalline lack of color makes them work most wallpapers.

What We Don't Like

  • Icon selection very similar to those found in the Precision icon pack.

Ice-like icons that are made through half-view, make a great companion for the majority of backgrounds and themes available for Android. These sophisticated icons add classes to any device, even if they are nothing more than the memorized version of the icon in the Precision icon pack.
