Using a camera app like Apple is quite easy, but has been packed with many settings and features. One feature we want is that it was auto HDR. The 2x zoom works adequately, but obviously it can not compete with the 5x lens of the P30 Pro. As with the main camera, risk, white balance and color are very good.

When you zoom, the pictures shot with ultra-wide camera are clearly lacking in detail, but there is no clear drop in sharpness as you often find on the edges of the lens.


In portrait mode, the S10 plus uses the same visual field as the main camera, and works well to detect deeply. Overall, S10 Plus has excellent cameras. It takes amazing photos in good light which are best here. Its features include excellent portrait mode for both front and rear cameras and great video stabilization (plus the ability to record in HDR10 +).

Xiaomi Mi 9

Xiaomi has been playing catch-up for Huawei since some time, but in the Mi9 it has produced some special. It's a phone that can compete with Huawei as well as Samsung and Apple. That's true for Mi 9's cameras.

Triple Rear Setup is the first for Xiaomi. It is similar to the Galaxy S10 with ultra-wide camera and 2x telephoto, but the 48Mp main sensor stole the show. Mi 9 is another strength video. It defaults to normal 1080p30, but you can convert it to 4K30 or 4K60. You will not see any message about features that are disabled if you do so: The stabilization option remains active at 4K60.

However, we found that it was quite ineffective in that mode, but in 4K30 you can expect excellent results: smooth, detailed footage with very little noise. Autofocus performance is exemplary and there is no change in risk. The stereo audio is very good and the only one area is the best range of Mi 9 for the iPhone XS video. Xiaomi's camera app imitates the iPhone, but it means that it's comfortable. There are some extra modes, but the night mode is not too much when it's really dark. Overall, Mi 9's cameras are highly impressive. The Zoom P30 Pro is not as capable and it is not as good in low light, but if Mi 9 takes your fans (especially its low price), you will not be disappointed with its photo or video.

Google Pixel 3

Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL have similar cameras. Although this hardware is not just a fancy with a rear camera, it is not a mistake to think that it is not good. away with.
